I just arrived to Dallas yesterday and everything seems okay. I will be going to see my Arkansas Razorbacks play Texas A&M in very first
Southwest Classic. Last night I saw many people who were Razorback fans in a microbrewery called
Humperdink's. The food was great and the brew was top notch. I drank their special Oktoberfest beer all night and wound up with two guys, John and Bernie, who were best friends who traveled to Dallas for the game. One was from North Little Rock (Sylvan Hills) and the other was from Texas and was a graduate of Texas A&M. We recognized each other from the hotel because they checked in right behind me. Great conversation and good fun, these two! I hope to run into them after the game today.
Tomorrow I will fly to Arkansas and go home for four days to see the folks. After that I will be in New Orleans on business. I also am going to meet with
Jim Azzola, the organizer of New Orleans Campaign for Liberty, and Nate Thompson, a fellow member of the Campaign for Liberty. This should make my trip a little more interesting as well. I always like meeting fellow libertarians wherever I go. This is one of the reasons that I started Libertarians Abroad, though not the main reason.
Anyway, I am going to make it a great time and see a great game here in Dallas!
