I did not invite you to join Twoo!

I just want everyone to know that I have not invited you to Twoo! I don't even have a Twoo account. A friend invited me to Twoo and there was a place to check what other friends are members of Twoo by checking via my Gmail account. I did that but I didn't join. Twoo grabbed all of my Gmail contacts, business and personal, friend and foe, and has been spamming them with invitations from me.I don't know if this is a mistake on their part or if it is malicious. But I don't care in the end. Either…See More

Welcome to Libertarians Abroad's Social Space...!

I am happy to have found the Libertarian Party at a young age, while I was still in the United States Navy. Not long after I left the Navy I joined the ranks of American expatriates overseas. Because of this I noticed that there was not much interaction with our fellow libertarians. As such, before I left Vietnam to move to Thailand, I formed Libertarians Abroad. I hope to attract libertarian thinking people to contact and communicate with one another around the world to promote the cause of liberty. I want to see freedom in my lifetime.

Come join us!

Best regards

I did not invite you to join Twoo!

Twoo: An awful excuse for a social network! I just want everyone to know that I have not invited you to Twoo! I don't even have a Twoo account. A friend invited me to Twoo and there was a place to check what other friends are members of Twoo by checking via my Gmail account. I did that but I didn't join. Arguing Politics: A no win situation

Posted by Gary Dale Cearley on July 10, 2011 at 12:04pm 1 Comment

A few nights ago I found myself discussing taxation with two other people: An Indian and a person who is a dual citizen of France and Switzerland. I noticed something that was very odd during the discussion. Quite often people will agree with your points, the majority of your points regarding small government. Then they reject the whole idea reverting back to counter points that they have already discarded. To me this seems like some kind of odd rubber band effect, almost as if people had…

It is difficult to ascertain a position from this…

Can USA Oil reserves save the $US?

Posted by Bryan Lever on February 14, 2011 at 4:01am 4 Comments

I quote from a recent email received:

The  U. S. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only

scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a

revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil was in

this area of the western 2/3 of  North Dakota , western  South Dakota ,…

Don't the Libertarian slab of candidates seem rather weak this year?

Libertarian Party candidates for top offices usually are full of unknowns but generally known somehow within the party. I am not really seeing that this year. I think it will be harder to excite…Continue
